Why co-writing?

Writing with others is inspiring! One person has an idea, that sparks an idea with somebody else, then before you know it you've written a full song. You end up with a finished song that nobody in the group would have written alone, but emerges from the combination of people in the room. It's also great fun!

I'm just starting out - can I come?

You're welcome wherever you are in your journey as a songwriter and musician - whether you're just starting out or you've got a wall full of gold discs! We all started somewhere - the main thing is just to start.

Do I have to sing or play an instrument?

Not at all (but you are very welcome to bring your instrument if you play one). Everybody who comes has different skills and ideas - that's the great thing about writing in groups. Somebody is a great singer, somebody is fantastic at writing lyrics, somebody plays guitar..

How do I find out about your events?
